Job Update!

I just returned home from a wonderful time at Great America with my family.

I found a letter from Frito Lay in the mail box that read,

"We are pleased that you have contacted us regarding possible employment with Frito-Lay.

At this time, we are following up with candidates whose background closely matches our needs. If we are able to match your employment objectives to our needs int he future, we will contact you.

Thank you for your interest in Frito-Lay and we wish you success in your career endeavours."

An obvious letter of declination!

On a lighter note, I successfully passed my DMV test for a class A commercial learners permit on Monday. This was a welcome relief since I can't begin "Truck School" without the permit. I am to report to the "smart center" on Friday to finalize my enrolment to the "Truck School" that I will attend beginning 7:30 am next Monday. If I am not able to find a local truck driving job, the school has a placement program that guarantees a "long haul" job after graduation.
