O-B-E-D-I-E-N-C-E

The kindergarten teacher where my kids go to school loves to teach the kids cute, easy to remember, songs with a sound message. One of those songs is about obedience. The tune sounds like something that an oompa loompa might sing as the children spell out the word obedience which after, the chorus states, "obedience is the very best way to show that you believe". My dad had a chance recently to show those in his Church that he "believes". He was sprinkled as an infant, and was recently confronted with the superior doctrine of believer's baptism. I say superior, not to discount paedo baptism but simply to call attention to the fact that "credo baptism" is the outcome of a more literal interpretation of the biblical language as evidenced by the example of biblical characters in the new testament. I don't want to open a can of worms here, I only want to congratulate my dad and encourage him as God continues the process of progressive sanctification in his life. Thank you Dad for setting a sound example for us all to follow.

Lord willing I will post my testimony and explanation of my own up and coming baptism next time

David
